This page lists just a few of the more interesting projects I undertook whilst studying for my Software Engineering MEng degree. I was graduated from the University of Southampton with First-class Honours in July 2005.
Third year research project analysing the movement of pedestrians along pavement, using computer vision techniques to identify and track the movement of each individual. The final project was capable of resolving occlusion and gave data almost suitable for gait recognition.
Fourth year research project analysing the performance of a native XML database (Apache Xindice) against a traditional database (MySQL).
Fourth year short group project for the detection and recognition of human faces.
